Volunteer Page At Cage World, we welcome individuals or family's that would like to volunteer their time and talents to help us better care for our birds. Can I volunteer at Cage World? Yes, Cage World has volunteers that participate in many aspects of its operations. 2. How old do I have to be to volunteer? We have no set rules on how old a volunteer has to be. If you are under the age of 18, we do require a parent or guardian to give written authorization. 3. As a volunteer what will I do? You will assist the full time staff in there daily chores. This could be helping them feed & water the birds. Clean cages. Sweep floors. 4. Is there a minimum amount of time I have to volunteer? No. You are giving us your time (and we really appreciate it) so you can pick your own days and times to help us. 5. Will I have to work with customers if I volunteer? No. We ask that our volunteers refer any customers to a full time staff member. 6. Can I bring my bird with me while I volunteer? Yes. Many of our volunteers bring their birds to socialize them. |
